In nursing in critical thinking, why is it important to consider thinking from the three perspective: thinking ahead, thinking in action, and thinking back (reflection)
Three perspective about nursing critical thinking:
Thinking ahead:
Critical thinking is a challenge for all professionals in the health field..it is frequently used in nursing literature as synonyms to describe processes associated with the work of nurses with patients..In other term it is used for analytical thinking, clinical judgement, critical judgement, clinical decision-making creative thinking, problem solving, reflective thinking, diagnostic reasoning.. Thinking ahead involves some skills and attitudes necessary for the development of clinical reasoning, which is based on existing knowledge..
Thinking inactive:
Clinical reasoning is present in all nurses care actions and decisions for appropriate interventions and evaluating results..To makes diagnosis includes expectations of interventions and potential outcomes in a given group and depends on the people involved and the relationship established between them..
Thinking back:
It is a reflective thinking.. analysing the reasoning you used to look for flaws, gain more understanding and correct and improve it.. experienced nurses double-check their thinking in dynamic ways during thinking--in-action..methodical reflective thinking that happens after the fact, using specific strategies and tools brings new insights, more depth, and greater accuracy, and lessons learner experience..
Considering all three of the above phares of Thinking helps you examine Thinking in a holistic way..if you follow one phase,we will miss important parts of thinking..
