Solutions

Expert Solution

I think the BRICS nations is not a threat to the major developed nations. BRICS is an association of 4 major developing countries - Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The association is looking forward to collectively address various regional challenges which impede the economic development of these emerging countries. The emergence of newer economics are not essentially threats to the major developed nations. The BRICS nations have good relationships with the major developed nations. Also, the development of BRICS nations can provide market opportunities for firms in the developed markets. Moreover, economic developments in BRICS is crucial for the development of the world economy. When the world economy grows, it provides more opportunities to citizens across all countries. In addition, developments of BRICS nations mean more nations shouldering collective global responsibilities like global energy crisis, terrorism, climate change, etc.
