I feel that the government has made it too easy for our youth! During the time that most of use grew up we were not spoon fed on how to work on certain skills or were given help when finding employment. Making our youth more independent helps develop their futures as past struggles only make them stronger. Making it easy for youths will only make them ill prepared when they are faced with a real world situation once they are older, such as a job interview or a health issue. Also with them being underdeveloped, their opinion on certain topics such as politics and education are obsolete.
Reply to this post favouring the Canadian youth policy
Canada's youth policy is the first step in demonstrating action on an issue important to youth. The government of Canada will continue to engage with youth across the country to ensure these priorities, as well as federal policies and programs, remains relevant and continue to meet young people's need.
Young Canadians are one of Canada's most important resources. Youth represent the one-third Canadian population and reflect Canada's entire diversity. They are a group of dynamic, innovative, and vibrant individuals who are finding new ways to have their voices heard and affect the change they wish to see in the world. So the government is helping them to learn new skills and find employment opportunities more easily and effectively.
Canada's youth policy represents a whole-of-government approach aimed at improving youth overcomes and involving young people in federal decision-making. Supporting youth requires a collaborative approach, as the issues they face are complex and interconnected. The government of Canada will continue to work with all levels of government, indigenous leadership, youth-serving organization, and youth themselves to make sure young Canadians have the necessary supports, tools, and opportunities to reach their full potential. This opportunities will reflect the value of young Canadians.
