Solutions

Expert Solution

SOLUTION:-

** In our solar system , 8 planets are there and Pluto was rejected by the scientists.

Mercury - venus - Earth- Mars- Jupiter - Saturn - Uranus - Neptune.

** The solar system is divided in two phase :- inner planets and outer planets.

Inner planets:- Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars.

Outer planets:- Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

The main reason to occur in different positions is the inner materials of the planets. After formation of the sun into the center of the nebula , the solar wind throw the lighter gas elements like hydrogen and helium and created outer planets. On the other hand heavy Rocky materials stayed closer to the sun and formed inner planets.

**Inner planets like Mercury, Venus and earth and Mars are formed by heavy Rocky materials that's why they stayed closer to the sun. Inner planets are also known as the terrestrial planets.

** Outer planets like Jupiter and Saturn are the big gas giant formed by hydrogen and helium. That's why they exist in the outer planets.

Uranus and Neptune are made of hydrogen and helium and also methane ice and water. Rock material is not present enough into these planets. These planets are called icy planets. That's why they are present in most outer side.
