Explain the “Commerce Clause” of the United States Constitution and how it connects to and impacts the business community.
Answer- commerce clause , provision of U. S. Constitution ( Article I, section 8 ) that authorizes Congress to regulate commerce with foreign nation and among the several states and with Indian tribes.
With interstate commerce clause, federal government has exclusive the right and power to regulate the business activities between states. On the other hand, with state police powerpower, state government has power and right to regulate business activities with the main purpose is to protect public safety and health.
