What kinds of systems might be valuable targets in information warfare? Create a prioritized list of targets and describe the kinds of damage that could result if these systems were attacked. Provide a minimum of 3 paragraphs.
Each and every department of the country is connected to information technology in some form or the other from transportation like railways or air traffic control to the economy like banking system and stock market. If any of these systems are vulnerable, anybody can gain access to them and exploit them. The systems which are fragile with less or no security are the ones most vulnerable to attacks.
An adversary may attack a bank and move money to unauthorized accounts which can disrupt the whole system. They can target the communication system and computer networks of the country for their personal illegal gains which can cause disruption to the society. They can attack the defense department and access classified information, which can make the nation's security weak.
So we can conclude that information warfare can cause a lot of trouble for a nation and it can disrupt the functioning of the whole state and society.
