The types of maturation are Physical maturation where in we have physical changes as we age, Sucking is a reflex at birth,as we get older we do not rely on our reflexes,we develop gross motor skills and fine motor skills .as we move on to becoming adoloscents and adults.When we talk about cognitive maturation it is the way we improve our thinking perspective throughout our life span.Maturity is the maximum adaptive social ,emotional or cognitive functioning and process of achieving .It is influenced by genetics and can be measured.It helps to cope and react emotionally in an appropriate way.
