1. The occupational health nurse has to assess the workplace for the possible health hazards in work place and to provide preventive measures.

2.The nurse has to educate the people who is working over there bith the employer and the employee that how to prevent the health hazards such as accidents and injuries.

3. She has the right to make the changes in the working pattern inorder to make thye workplace safer and comfortable for both the employer and the employee.

4.She has to develop and conduct health and saftey programmes.

5.Train the workers that how to act if an occupational hazard happens and she should conduct mock drills to check the effectivness of her teaching.

6. Counselling the employees who really need,by understanding their problem.
