Think of a problem that you have recently been faced with (personal, work-related, etc). Illustrate how you might use the sequence-attribute modification process on your problem? What are the limitations of this method? Do you think that the outcome would have been different if you used the sequence-attribute modification process in the original decision making process? Why or why not?
Answer: -
To help me get work done on time in my professional life I will make use of sequence-attribute modification process. I will break down my work schedule into a logical sequence of steps. I will make use of attribute listing and checklists and will prioritize my work. High priority work will be finished work followed by work with lower level of priority. Checklists and logical sequence will help me to eliminate and clear all back logs.
The main limitation of this method is that the data has to be perfectly organized, but in reality it is not always possible or practical to have data that is perfectly organized. Secondly forced relationships cannot always be applied to stimulate ideas.
Yes, the outcome would have been different if I had used the sequence-attribute modification process in the original decision making process. If the process would have been used in the original decision making then I would have already examined all logical steps as well as examined the ways in which the process could be altered. This would have ensured that all works are finished on time and as per schedule.
