Expert Solution

So let me take the example of my last job. Here we worked in a team of six people for professional E-mail services.

Every individual of the team was given full freedom to take decisions. Although whenever needed the other members were there to help him out.

Even when some customer complained about a particular team member, the other members used to make sure that the customer realises that the fault was not intentional.

In this way we used to achieve quality team work.

Steps to improve team performance -

1. It is essential to kepp trust in team till third stage of team development i.e. Norming stage.

2. Individuals should be motivated to always work as a unit.

3. There should be no difference on the basis of hierarchy for providing suggestions.

4. Effective listening should be there always.

TQ techniques to improve team processes -

TQ technique can generally bring a team closer making team members know each other in a better manner.

The gesture used in this technique makes communication more effective and simpler among the members.

It allows for instantaneous communication of a larger concept. Communication is always the key for any process. Thus by implying TQ technique you can improve the whole team process.
