Biopyschosocial is an approach of dealing with biological , psychological and social aspects of complex interaction which takes place in order to understand the health aspects and their way of recovering etc.

The model was proposed by George L . Engel in the year 1977. It served as an alternative approach of biomedical model. This model was invented as because , as it was observed that there was an absence of science in the field of psychiatry . It was also observed that, there was no adequate medicines for treating the illness of people.

Biopsychosocial model is considered to be the treatment of the health care issues. It is an advanced state of handling matters of health care . Good health care of a person leads to the well being of poeple.

Biopsychosocial is a branch of psychology where the brain is the crucial element , which helps the person to identify/recognise the behaviours, feelings,sentiments. how the brain helps in influencing the behaviour of a person?

This model is highly compatible in the future , as it will help to lower down the risk of medical problems or illness by the help of advanced science. It even helps to identify the disorders a person is having psychologically. This model will not only heal a person psychologically , but rather it will look at every aspect of a problem a person might be having ,such as social and biological. Hence , it is multidisciplinary in approach .i.e. combining all the three into one and having a solution to the problem .
