Anaphylaxis is a severe whole body allergic reaction to a chemical that has become an allergen.An allergen is a substance that can cause an allergic reaction.
People who have had a severe allergic reaction are at risk for future reactions. The your first reaction is mild, future reactions might be more severe. That's why it's important to carry self injectable epinephrine if you are at risk, and 911 should be dialed in the event of very serious reaction.
Remove the person from the source of poison if the scene is dangerous.check the persons level of consciousness and breathing. Care for any life threatening Conditions. If the person is conscious ask questions to get more information. Look for any containers and take them with you to the telephone. Call the national poison control center Hotline at 18002221222.Follow the directions of the national poison control center Hotline call taker. Do not give the person anything to eat or drink unless medical professionals tell you to do so. If you don't know what the poison was and the person vomit.The hospital may analyze it to identify the poison.
A concussion is a type of traumatic brain injury or TBI caused by a pump, blow or jolt to the head or by a hit to the body that causes the head and brain to move rapidly back and forth. This sudden movement can cause the brain to bounce around or twist in the skull, creating chemical changes in the brain and sometimes stretching and damaging brain cells.
