This task focuses on your ability to 'critically' watch a video and form your own opinions - in favour of/ against /neutral about the approach taken by the doctors in FIJI to treat a crisis on Diabetic complications.

In Fiji there is one diabetic amputation every 12 hours. This is devastating for a country with a population around 1 million. This inspirational talk is by Dr Jone Hawea who is a surgeon and spent many years in this field, and particularly around diabetic amputations.

The basic Idea Behind this Video A"Holistic Approach to the Crisis of Non-Communicable Diseases | Dr Jone Hawea | TEDxSuva" is to show us the Best way to Saves Our Life's From Deadly Disease like Diabetes Foot Amputation is To "Prevent" this Disease from Happening.

As there Have been a Tremendous Rise in the past few years in the Non-Communicable disease such as Diabetes, Hypertension,stroke etc. which are Claiming a number Life Worth Million dollars. Also They Contribute to the Increasing number Of DALYs( Disability Adjusted Life Years).

So To halt This Rise in these Disease One Should Be Physically Active which release a number of Hormones Such as Serotonin,Dopamine ,Oxytocin which can Counteract the bad Effects of the Cortisol(Stress Hormone) on the Body and Makes the Individual Very Happy and Prevent him/her From Developing Such Deadly Diseases.

As Shown in this video Diabetes Claims 2 Amputations of leg per day , 60 in a month and 700 per Year. Its been on High Rise and it is a House of Infection While Operating the limb By the Surgeon.

So, Dr.Jones share his Experiences To tackle these Disease by Different ways Such as-

  • By Maintaing Physical Well-being
  • By Maintaing Mental Well-being
  • And by Spiritual Well-being.

One can Manifest them By determinimg by their spiritualistic Approach to Control their Senses which can Help them Reduce the various Risk Factors that are Building blocks for these Non-Communicable Diseases a Holistic approach is Required . Firstly the Determination by individual then Secondly by giving the Command via mind to the body. Thirdly it manifests by the body which can in Any form for example - Command to do exercise by body manifest as doing so.

Finally Concluding this By saying "Prevention is Better than Cure" One Should Always try to do something that Makes him Happy And fullfill the Inner Consciousness which will surely be Helpful toh him/her not Now but surely in near Future.
