Nitroglycerin- It is a tablet which has to be used at the time of acute chest pain of sudden onset(angina) sublingually and can be taken every 5 minutes or upto 15 minutes. If pain relieves patient must spit or swallow the remaining tablet.

A high risk patient with CAD or high BP or pervious history of angina must keep nitoglycerin tablet with him.

If using orally for long term patient must take dosage at exactly same time daily.

Clopidegrol- Guide patient to inform any doctor that they are on clopidegrol before starting any treatment. Excessive intake of alcohol must be avoided with this medication. Report immediately if any sign of increasing bleeding or bruising.

Aspirin- Report any tinnitus,sweating or hyperventilation to doctor after aspirin. Restrict alcohol intake. Keep out of reach of children. Store in cold place or refrigerator. Store in container in which in comes tightly closed. Take missed dosage as soon as possible. Donot increase dose by self. Report if any bleeding or bruising.

Simvastatin- Blurred visions, severe gastrointestinal problems, dizziness or headaches must be reported. Must take low cholesterol diet with some exercise. Blood and eye test throughout treatment important.
