Longevity would sometimes be understood in the form of life expectancy. Though, longevity is identified according to the population that has lived longer. The length of time is identified in terms of longevity. When addressing a population of high school students, it is important to make them understand that the length of time is not only important, but it is required that along with living a longer life it has to be quality life.

It is important to make them understand that health forms an important aspect of longevity. Though, longevity or a longer life dies not only guarantee a healthy disease free life, but a healthy disease free lifestyle would guarantee a longer life.

For the high school students, the importance of living a healthy lifestyle may not have been established as yet. It is important to make them understand that it is required to start early. It has been estimated that there are two major factors that would be determining the longevity of a person. These two parts are genetics as well as lifestyle choices.

Better health conditions, disengagement in physically dangerous activities, etc, could lead to longevity and a longer and healthier life. It is important for them to understand that leading a healthy life doesn’t only help in a happier life but is also economical. The lesser a person has to spend on medical expenses, the more they could be spending on other aspects such as luxuries or accessories.

Hence, the importance of health, that affects longevity and the intertwined relationship of both should be explained in a proper manner.
