Briefly summarize the Is-Ought Problem advanced by Hume?
is ought problem is the one that has been put up by David Hume. According to him, many of the writers have explained what others should be doing, on their hown basis of the hat has been present or what actually is.
Hume states that there are differences between positive statements and the normative statements or the prescriptive statements that are provided by these wrtiters. The positive statements are in the form of is statements and the normative statements are in the form of how a person should be progressing or should be behaving in their life.
He states that every time he has witnessed principles of morality, the author has stated some observations or has put up the existence of god and that these eritings only state what a person should be doing. He stated that the journey to go from what should be and what actually happens is something that might take some time and a disffer nice between vice as well as virtue.
