Expert Solution

The value of creating a presentation is that it makes it relatively easier to reach out to the audiences in an effective manner. Also it saves time to convey our message one-on-one basis of each of the members. Often the programs like power-point presentations are also self-explanatory. That also helps in saving a great deal of time in reaching out to the audience personally.

In general, ensuring that the Listeners pay attention to the Presentation, one shall undertake few strategies that can ensure that the audience lends its ears to the presenter.

One shall first prepare a very interactive live presentation, containing slides that have the ability to grasp the audience’s attention. In spite of one’s primary efforts, if the presenter’s audience tends to get bore, then the Presenter shall ensure that its presentation does not remain only one-way communication. For this, one can introduce an impromptu task like a quiz or discussion during the Presentation so as to keep gauging the level of understanding of the audiences.

If the Presenter realizes that there still exist a gap in spite of its explanation towards the Presentation slides that would be interactive and a source to spread more awareness as to what is expected out of the employees, then the Presenter shall move on to the next step. It may organize brief sessions of one-to-one interaction based on the quiz report that it would have undertaken during the Presentation. Many times, the members in the audience are reserved and introvert. The Presenter needs to tap their inert skills and study the quiz report to understand this gap. Then the Presenter shall try to get into the shoes of such members of the audience and attempt to comprehend their concerns or mental blocks, if any. Once the same is identified, the presentation could be flown to that direction.

Alternatively, as a presenter, one can use mobile devices to enhance the presentations as well in various ways so that keeping the audience’s interest intact becomes more viable. For this, one can download certain important applications or be aware of the in-built applications that could support my presentation. The entire slideshow presentation of my Microsoft Powerpoint, could be saved in my mobile and the same could casted on larger screen for my audiences. In terms of casting activity, one could also cast few of the related educational videos from my mobile that one would have already downloaded before starting the presentations. Visual graphics shall convey my ideas and thoughts to the audiences in a better manner. That way, it shall become easier for the Presenter to connect to the masses with the presentations. The laser pointer feature in the mobile could also help to highlight or point out certain important information that is displayed on the larger screen of the slideshow presentation for the audience.
