Definition of Culture

It is defined as 'The behaviour that describes how a set of community mingle and move on with other community.'

Since we are in operations management,lets discuss about corporate culture.

It means how an organizaton's management and its employees manage and interact with their customers and clients.

Important factors in creating a culture

*KYC

We can come across this word in every e commerce business and banking sector.Know Your Customer means how well you know about your client or customer.It means,what are the requirements of the customer and what are his expectations and hopes.And how well you are providing him the requirements and fulfilling his dreams.

*Team Work

It makes the things easier and fast.It is better to work in teams rather than working alone.Different people shares their ideas in one platform so that it makes us to overcome the problem easy.

*Leadership

Leadership comes from a good culture.A leader is the one who takes responsibility and stands against all odds when days are not good.A healthy culture turns a normal person in to leader.This is one of the most important factor in creating a culture.

*Modernisation

In other words we can call it as innovation.The person who is innovative will come up with more ideas and methods.

It not only lits fire in us but also makes us to think beyond the box.

*Basics and Team Buildup

A strong team can make the organization stronger and its values stronger.So,a culture will definitely lay a strong pillar in building a strong team.

Cultures are becoming more alike or not?

If we see the current scenario,it seems like the cultures are definitely becoming alike.

Due to lack of proper technology in olden days we didnot experienced much change in cultures.But every day we are getting developed in all the areas among which culture is also one.With the entry of internet we can simply sit in our home and watch every corner in this world.Starting from life style of a particular country to national games we can watch each and every step very close.this makes us understand the country's cultures and likes,dislikes.This makes us adopt their culture and makes our lives simple to live there.

Lets us discuss briefly with an example.

Suppose if a person from Asia would like to migrate to Europe to settle permanently,firstly he goes through the the country's way of life,their language,tradition,food and education system.this gives him an idea about the place he is going to work and settle.It makes our lives easy.

It is definitely a good sign.Lets go with an example.

Suppose a person habituated the food of different countries,he will be adjusted easily to the conditions.This culture creates more employment opportunities everywhere.The thing is there will be no restriction for the person who comes to work from other countries since he has already adopted to culture and conditions.He doesnot feel like he is in a new place.

Starting from manufacturing of branded clothes,cars,machinery and medicines to making of films everything depends upon culture.Now all the branded goods are being distributed to different corners of the world.It means people are heartly welcoming the new change in their lives.Life style is getting changed,everyone is travelling to different countries for vacations and holidays.

Many multi national companies are investing huge amount of money and establishing their factories and branches in different countries.There are many advantages of this.People are getting jobs and companies also making profits.

We are in a generation where we need not go to The US to buy an Iphone.We can simply order in any E-commerce websites where we can get within hours.
