Describe the role of genetic risk factors in the development of bipolar disorder and how does this relate to methods of treatment?

Bipolar disorder is also known as Manic depression, this is an illness in which an individual face mixture of two moods in which if in one moments he feel high or happy and depressed in another mood. Many researcher studied the role of genetic risk factors in the development of biploar disorder many scientist believe that bipolar disorder runs from family to family. And, if any member have problem of bipolar disorder then there is many possiblities that it ll pass in another generations.
It may possible as in bipolar disorder environmental factors are also a important reason then it may cause problem to child if his parent have bipolar disorder, there is possiblity that he also get this disorder genetically and also by assuming from parents to. Role of genetic factors may relate to the method of treatment that therapist can understand the pattern of disorder and can also helpful in giving medication.
