This approach was taken because When a product or brand reaches at maturity stage then chances of increasing profit declines. product started to reach decline stage slowly. No company wants its product to reach at decline stage.At maturity stage of PLC, demand for makeup product of BOBBI brown reachs at saturation point and this is the point at which products stays longer if company keep investing in marketing and promotion.

The promotion objective of Bobbi brown to take this approach so that Demand for its product keep increase even at slow rate. This approach will keep its products longer in the market. By offering discounts, free samples as promotional strategy, Bobbi brown will be able to create more customers for its brand. This way, Bobbi brown with help of promotion at this PLC stage will inform customers as much as possible which leads to increase its demand and differentiate it from other makeup brand.
