Secondary needs involve psychological needs. Top 5 needs as nurturing - This is essential for wellbeing of any individual person required nurturing throughout his life, initially from parents, friends, spouse and then children. Nurturing helps a person to grow and is secured. Independence - Independence leads to freedom of thought and creativity, when a person is prohibited from doing things his growth stops. Eg: if woman is independent she can learn and achieve her dreams. Self esteem - If self esteem of a person is low, then he would not be able to maintain his mental balance. Self esteem does not depend upon money, it depends upon thought process of an individual. Respect - Respect also increases the self esteem of a person, it motivates a person to grow more beautifully. Even if a child is given respect he would grow more nicely with confidence. Attachment - Attachment makes a person to be secures and achieve success in all the fields, even if a person is poor enough but is quiet attached to his parents or other members, then he would achieve success.

Need for affiliation and achievement. Any need should not be too high or too low. Both are risky. If a person develops high need for affiliation then he would make contact wherever he goes and achieve success. When a person has attachment he also provides attachment, similar to those who receive love give love. High affiliation can be risky as a person may become dependent upon people and would not trust his own guts. There would high insecurity developed in him if he doesn't gets affiliation.

Similarly needs for high achievement would also help person to become more ambitious and would invent things, it can not make his life boring. Need for high achievement is risky as he may go to any extent to achieve, may also indulge into corruption. He may ignore the moral, the societal values, family values.

Tension creates stress, stress leads to achieve more, stress leads to be more competitive. I have gone through one presentation which says to make stress the friend so that person does not suffers from health related ailments. Hence we should not desire for tension free life, we should try to develop stress free habits such as exercising, eating healthy food, relaxing, meditation to reduce stress. If we run away from stress, stress would also hunt for us.
