1)Permission marketing is type of marketing where the audience has a choice to opt in receiving the advertisements. Mostly this type of marketing can be of opt-in -email where internet user sign in advance for information about certain product categories. It is effective because it is more receptive to a message that has been requested in advance
. Interruption marketing or outbound marketing is a type of marketing that involves promotion of a product through continuous advertising, public relations , promotions and sales. It is considered as traditional marketing. Most commonly it can seen as Telly marketing calls.

Social media has wider reach both in terms of physical and psychological. It is cost effective . It involves evolving technologies and platforms.
On the other hand social media is 24*7 real time based platform in comparison to traditional marketing methods. It is not limited to any geographical boundaries and has place for almost every kind of product and services. It is a effective and efficient method of marketing. It removes intermediators and let to establish a direct contact with the manufacturers. It helps to get feedback also.
