Expert Solution

The need to belong comes as the third stage in Malow’s need hierarchy theory of motivation. This would mean that people are social animals and they need other people to survive especially, parents, family, friends etc. These people would play a major role in helping, motivating and interacting thus sharing their happiness, sadness and other emotions. The need to belonging is very important because without any intimate human connections around people wouldn’t be able to feel human or they wouldn’t have any purpose in life. People in a social setting could thrive only if they have enough human connection that would move them to other higher needs.

I know that I have fulfilled this need because I have a beautiful family that loves me and make me feel alive. I also have many friends around me who share all my good and bad things that happens to me. I feel that I’m motivated and encouraged to lead a better life and experience all the emotions through them.
