List some of the changes that can occur late in life, which affect living arrangements. How many are positive changes? How many are negative changes? In what way?
In late life thre are various physica, Social, Economic, and Demographic Changes among the Elderly.
Physiological chages:
At the last i would like to conclude that whether the positive and negative changes the concern is that that children should give a positive support in later stage specially emotional support so that they can live in a better and quality life.
Hearing/speaking: Over time, there are changes in hearing as impaired as well as there are changes in tone and speech.
Vision: Most people in their 40s develop a need of wearing glasses as vision is impaired
Bones: At later stage there is loss of mineral content in the bones. The bones get less dense and strong.
Metabolism & body composition: At later stage metabolism slows at the same time there are several hormone changes leading to more body fat and less muscle mass.
The above mentioned are the physiological changes apart from that there are various psychological and social changes.
At later stage the prime psychological change is insecurity, fear as well as various mental changes.
There are various social changes like lonwliness, non acceptance by children etc.Thse are the negative changes
As per the positive changes are concerned there are more dicision making capibilities as the experience is very huge.
As well as they are having very good social concerns.
