Explain how the external environment, organizational size technology, and strategy are relevant in the design or the an organizational structure where you have worked.

I have worked in a multinational company that manufacturers carpet. The external environment plays a very important part in the organizational structure. The companies in near vicinity had water harvesting system in their campuses, so after few years our company adapted to the same. This is a great deal for the company as this water can be used in many ways for the company. The second is technology and organizational size. As we all can say as the company expands, the size of the campus will also be increased as there will be more people recruited in the company. As new people young people comes, technology also will be from next generation. So, organizational size and technology is not inversely proportional. When we talk about strategy, it is the main part that is required by the organizational structure. If the company doesn't have strategy then the growth of the will be halted and won't survive for many years. I have seen many companies that failed in spite of having the strategies.
