old Chinese is also referred to as archaic Chinese. This is oldest form of Chinese and forms the basis of all modern forms of the language. Some of the earliest Chinese forms have been obtained on oracle bonds, in the later Shang dynasty. These have been found in the form of inscriptions, in the form of oracle bond inscriptions as well as bronze inscriptions.
These have served as the basis of Classical Chinese forms or in order words, works of literary Chinese. As a result, the modern forms of Chinese has grammar as well as vocabulary of older forms of Chinese. The rhyming practice in older Chinese as well as the phonetic information has been including in modern Chinese.
Both the languages are similar in a manner, that there are both the languages are tonal languages, and in both languages there is only one syllable that is involved and both languages. Also, there is absence of proper conjugations as well as declination in both the languages. Many of the Vietnamese words also have Chinese origin.
