Explain how the administrator utilizes delegation and conflict resolution strategies to create change.
conflicts resolution is an important aspect of administration. An administrator can work with the help of theses strategies only to develop changes in the organisation. there are mainly five conflict resolution strategies according to Kenneth Thomas and Ralph Kilmann. These are avoiding, defeating, compromising, accommodating, and collaborating. Avoiding and accomodating are in the two end of a continum of cooperativeness. In case of avoideness there wont be be any cooperativeness but in the case of acccomodating the cooperativeness will be more. the other two skills like defeating and collaberating is also in the two sides of the cooperativeness in which defeating has no coperaativeness while the other that is collaberaative has the maximum.
Based on the other variable like assertiveness avoiding and defeating(competing) will be in a continum in which avoiding is the least assertive and competing is the most assertive strategy. On the other hand collaberating and accomodating will be in the continum in which collaborating is the most assertive and accomodating is the least assertive strategy. In all the four the fifith one compremising is in the middle which has all the property like assertiveness and cooperativeness but at the minimal level. it can be best explained with the picture attached with the same.
