I shall help you with this question by narrating from a third-person perspective. Let us imagine that Tim is a guy who is working for an insurance tpa company. He is observing the transformational leadership quality taken up by the owner of the company. A global crisis has led to a fall in the economy of all countries and their respective company's. Many of Tim's friends lost their job during this period. Tim and all his colleagues were fearing the loss of jobs. It was at this point that the owner took a strong decision in not terminating his staff during this crisis time. Ever since Tim joined the company, he had seen several instances were employees get fired on the spot or they resign. The exact reason was never known and it was only the spreading rumor that took its position stating that the harsh decisions of the owner are the ones responsible for the same. After a few months, it was time for the appraisal for employees. None of them were expecting any gain as they were glad that they received their salary on time and did not lose their job. The crisis period was so high that the downfall of several competitors led to an increase in projects coming to this company which made all including Tim to spend more hours on work. The transformational attitude of the owner during crisis management was the one that made the company get more quotes even though they were cheaply priced. Appraisals were given above expectations for all and the word from the owner was that it was always the good employees that define a company and that he values the work of each irrespective of the financial gain or loss which he takes up to his shoulders.
