what is immunity? please compare and contrast nonspecific and specific body defenses
Immunity of an organism is the capability of that organisms to specificaly resist the harmful microorganisms that attack them . The Immunity will involve both the specific as well as the nonspecific components. Those nonspecific type of the components will usually act as the barriers or th eliminators of the wide range of those pathogens that is irrespective of those antigenic make-up of those
The Immunity from that of the disease is usually conferred by that of 2 cooperative defense systems that is known as , nonspecific as well as , innate immunity and the second type is specific that is the , acquired immunity. The Nonspecific type of the protective mechanism will usually repel all those microorganisms in an equal manner , while those of the specific immune responses are usually tailored to that of the particular types of the invaders.
Specific immunity
The Specific immunity are those acquired one that is during those organism's lifetime as well as will involves those activation of the white blood cells that is B as well as the T lymphocytes . It distinguish as well as will react to the foreign substances. The B lymphocytes will operate by the production of the antibodies, that is proteins which will neutralize foreign the molecules
Non specific immunity
The Non-specific immune cell that is seen in the immune cell like the macrophage , dendritic cells , or the neutrophil, that will respond to many of the antigens, and not just any one type of antigen. The Non-specific type of the immune cells will function in first line of defense that is against the infection or the injury in an individual.
