Expert Solution

Change could be defined as te difference in the activities that take place in the organisation either at a smaller or a larger volume or scale. The two types of changes that could effectively taken place in the organisations are : Planned changes and Unplanned Changes.

Planned changes could be defined as the changes which take place when proper organsiation takes the deliberate decisions with that change. That change is foreseen and is taken by seeing all the essential outcomes and costs associated with it. For example, the implementation of using the ERP system rather than the traditional book keeping system is a planned change as organisation took this decision by all means.

On the other hand, Unplanned changes could be defined as the changes which take place without the decisions being considered and without any proper planning. They are basically the unforseen changes that the organisations has to go through.

For example this Covid-19 situation has made the organisations switch to the Work From Home basis. It wasn't even planned and thus it is an unforseen or unplanned change.
