In this fast changing environment, every business organization should learn to be more adaptable and flexible for easy handling of environmental changes. Most of the organizations use planned changes over unplanned changers after realizing the specific goals and targets of the company. Planned changes are better as compared to unplanned changes.
1. Planned changes:- planned changes are organizational systen that can works for internal as well as external factors. It makes organization prepare for the upcoming changes in advance. These factors helps organization in enhancing work efficiency and productivity. Some of the planned changes are:-
A. Change in product or services- If business needs diversity in its product or service line, they can add it through proper planning and new direction for changing internal atmosphere. In planned atmosphere, it requires fair amount of planning, coordination and resource distribution for specific objective.
B. Changing the administrative system- changes in administration of company helps in increasing its efficiency and increasing the company's image and gaining political power in working system of the company.
C. Changes in organizational structure and size- change in organizational structure and its hierarchical framework helps in improving its pre defined objectives of the company.
D. Technical Innovation- In this world of globalization, we see rapid changes in the technology. Change of the technology helps in competiting the rival companies and meeting with the needs of customers.
E. Advancement of communication and information processing- Updates in communication technology like satellite, internet and camera help in changing information with partners all over the world and makes decision making process more easier.

2. Unplanned changes- unplanned changes which are not more effective and efficient. This are may be planned but implemented in unplanned manner. Some of unplanned changes are-
A. Change in Demographic composition- The rapid change in the demographies will compel organizations to change. Increase in women's in workplace, experienced employees or professional employees are the result of globalization for which organization is not prepared.
B. Performance Gaps- unexpected changes in product demand or decrease in sales and deleting profit margin force company to change in organization.
C. Governmental regulations- changes in the governmental organization has great influence on the nature of company and make it highly available to compete in ever competitive atmosphere.
D. Global economic competition- world economy is uncertain and full of up and downs. There is uncertainty about inflation and deflation in the economy which force business organization to change its communication campaigns.
