Creativity is a talent regularly sought by organizations and the career readiness competencies of proactive learning, positive approach, problem solving, and self-motivation can help foster creativity. By focusing on proactive learning, whether about work-related issues or not, your curiosity will foster creative thinking. Positive feelings like gratitude, hope, joy, and empathy have been shown to build creative thinking. Using problem-solving skills will help you to see issues with new perspectives. You should establish creativity goals to direct your attention and efforts at finding creative ways to approach situations.

2) In what ways can you improve your creative skills, and what specific activities are you willing to commit to in order to increase your creativity?
Answer: (1) The recommendation of proactive learning interests me the most. This is because I think that it is a basic requirement for developing creativity. It practically helps in developing creativity and can foster the other recommendations like positive approach and so on. Creativity involves constant learning and pro activeness helps in developing continuous learning. With proactive approach a person can constantly learn about new things and approach situations in an innovative and creative manner.
(2) There are a number of ways in which a person can improve his creative skills. Some of these specific ways/activities that I am willing to commit for increasing my creativity are
1. Undertaking new tasks that are beyond the limits of my current skills and ability
2. Collaborative learning where I will attempt to learn by observing others
3. Take risk and reward curiosity
4. Overcome the fear of failure and undertake new activities
5. Practice brainstorming
6. Learn to create and use mind maps
