Does society generally follows the Justice theory?

Does society generally follows the Justice theory?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Justice Theory states that the society should be governed by principle of equality and justice. It mainly relies on three principles :

  • Greatest possible amount of liberty is to be given to the citizens upto the extent that the freedom given to one person should not infringe upon the rights of other people.
  • Inequalities should be there in the society only if the worst section of the people would be better off due to inequality.
  • Inequality should not make the life of the people worse who are without resources.

Generally in the society this justice theory is followed. Freedom of speech, education, religion is being given to all the citizens, but when it comes to inequality, it is being highly observed in the society and makes the life of the people worse. During such time, people who are without resources are not able to get the work done and influential people with money and power can get the work done easily.
