10. Does society bear the burdens of unemployment equally? Explain your answer generally and then specifically address issues of: male vs female, white vs non-white, older vs younger workers, higher educated vs lesser educated, suburban vs urban workers, and workers in manufacturing vs service sectors.
No,the burden of unemployment is non borne equally.Unemployment depends on a lot of factors like the demand for labour in a specific industry or the profile of work etc.
Male vs Female-It is generally seen that females are more unemploymed. The unemployment gap is diminishing but still is significant. This may be due to the structureb of the society which was originally male dominated.
White vs non white.Non white are more unemploymed because of racism.
Higher educated vs lesser educated-Higher educated people are more employed becausebof their skills and experience and knowledge.
Suburban vs Urban workers.-Suburban workers generally engage themselves in agriculture and related activities and so not possess professional skills. So,they are more unemployed.
Workers in manufacturing sector and service sector-The demand for labour is higher in service sector so employment is more in service sector.
