Ans. A is homologous chromosome. Homologous chromosome consists of one set of maternal chromosome and one is of paternal chromosome, found in diploid organism.
Protein acting at B is cohesin. Enriched at centromere and helps in the holding of sister chromatids together.
C is sister chromatids. Sister chromatids are the two identical copies of same chromosome formed during DNA replication process.
Protein acting at D is condensin. These are large protein complexes holds the distant segments of sister chromatids.
E is crossing over. Crossing over event lead to production of recombinant chromosomes by exchanging the segments between homologous chromosome.
