Solutions

Expert Solution

As per my understanding ,attachment theory states thst a strong emotional and physical attachment to at least one primary care giver is crucial for the personality development of children. But increasing rate of Women employment in recent decades has created need for alternative care giving situations like day care centres and nursery schools.Day care has variety of measurable effects, many of them positive and some of them are negative. The quality and type of day care can influence many aspects of development including memory, language development, school readiness, math skills and reading abilities .However, less attached to their primary care givers(modtly Mothers) ,child's emotional bonding is low which leads them to be aggressive in nature and also they become disobedient. Many Researchers emphasized that to most of the children day care based care giving is neither sensitive nor responsive to their needs. Also, Center based Child care providers often lack the training as well as time to address the behaviour problems.

Researchers have found that a significant proportion of women, particularly women in heterosexual relationships, fake or have faked orgasm. Based on what we've read this quarter (that means, do your best to try to be sociologically analytical), why do you think women sometimes fake orgasm? What does it have to do with gender roles and/or expectations? What does it have to do with messages girls and women learn about sexuality? And finally, who "benefits" from women faking orgasms, and who...

If you have P generation where one parent is homozygous dominant for both traits and the other parent is homozygous recessive for both traits, what will the F1 genotypes be? If you then cross F1 x F1, what will the F2 genotypes be? Assuming that the trait is one of “complete dominance”, what will be the F2 frequency of offspring with 1) both dominant traits, 2) one trait dominant and one trait recessive, 3) one trait recessive and one trait...

You have six years remaining in the original payback plan on a loan of $55,000, with an interest rate of 2.4% and a monthly payment of $566.74. With your new...

10. Taxes and Consumption Lets say the government decides to decrease taxes. This leads to an increase in consumption because households have more disposable income. How would you represent this tax decrease in an aggregate demand-supply curve? There is no change in aggregate demand. The aggregate demand curve shifts to the right. The aggregate demand curve shifts to the left. We cannot be sure.

Answer according to the discrimination model. Assume women and men both have the same productivity. 1. Imagine a market in which women’s wages are on average 80% of men’s wages. a. Graph the supply and the demand for female employees in this market assuming some are non-discriminating employers. b. Imagine 50% are discriminating employers.
