Expert Solution

Women being good in seeking the recommended screening for Heart Disease,Cancer or diabetes than the men totally depends upon the attitude as well as culture in which the individual is living. Eg In the Asian Countries like India where women is given less OPPORTUNITIES to care for herself and instead caring for the family,Women are less aware of the health issues they are facing in the majority of cases and In the Western Culture where Individualistic approach is followed and individuals are themselves responsible for their actions, women or men both are aware of their health issues and concerns they are likely to go for the screening of particular disease.

The other factor could be the attitude towards health. Some people thinks that health concerns are not so important to take while other people keep their health at the priority and top.

Yes It is true that Social and economic factors have impact on Cancer, Heart Disease or diabetes treatment .In some of the societies diabetes, cancer as well as any heart disease is something to hype for and would required early treatments before getting worse and some people do not have access to these facilities due to shrotage of money and several economic factors.
