2) Many women do not have classic signs as listed above. Instead, they may have severe fatigue, upset stomach and shortness of breath ( red flags ) Because they are not classic signs, like chest pain, heart attacks are diagnosed and treated much later than they normally are in men. Women are more likely than men to die from a heart attack because of the delay in treatment.

3) Spiritual distress :-

"impaired ability to experience and integrate meaning and purpose in life through connectedness with self, others, art, music, literature, nature, and/or power greater than oneself; causes people to feel alone; questions their spiritual values and way of life.

Establishing presence, supporting a healing environment, using support systems, providing diet therapy, supporting practices and rituals, and allowing opportunities for prayer and/or meditation.

4) Polypharmacy :-

The use of multiple medicines and/or administration of more medications than is clinically indicated, representing unnecessary medication use

Multiple medications increases the risk of drug interactions

Could be described as taking 5 or more medications.

5) Beers List -are guidelines for healthcare professionals to help improve the safety of prescribing medications for older adults.
