Dualism may be associated to the term which holds that the mind is a nonphysical &thernon-spatial substance. The mind with consciousness , self-awareness and distinguished from the brain as the seat of intelligence. Dualismis contrasted with all forms of materialism, but property dualism may be considered a form of emergent materialism or non-reductive physicalism in some sense.

views about the relationship between mind and matter, and between subject and object, and is contrasted with other positions, such as physicalism and enactivism, in the mind–body problem.

Dualism can be divided in three different ways 1) substance dualism is concerened to mind & matter are distinct kinds of foundations 2) property dualism states that ontological distinction lies in the difference between the properties of mind & matter.3) predicate dualism states irreducibility of mental predicates to physical predicates.

Many views have been shared by different thoughts, Plato.'s views of multiple" Soul has been described in a very thouhtfull manner. he explains  the distinctive functions of plants, animals, and people: a nutritive soul of growth and metabolism that all three share; a perceptive soul of pain, pleasure, and desire that only people and other animals share; and the faculty of reason that is unique to people . In this view, a soul is the hylomorphic form of a viable organism, wherein each level of the hierarchy formally supervenes upon the substance of the preceding level. Thus, as per ,Aristotle, all three souls perish when the living organism dies. For Plato however, the soul was not dependent on the physical body; he believed in metempsychosis, the migration of the soul to a new physical body."

ANS B) Monism may be termed as a philosophical worldview, in which reality can be reduced to one “thing” or “substance.” This view is opposed to dualism , e.g., good and evil; light and darkness; form and matter; body and soul) and pluralism In these philosophical views, Monaism uses the word substance in a technical sense to mean “essence,” or its “thing-ishness”; in other words, something in which properties adhere.

Many philosphers made us to understand yhe nature of reality that surrounds us & wanted to determine that every thing could be reduced.. The first principle by Thales was every thing is derived from -- WATER--. where as Anaximenes stated that every thing is derived from -- AIR.--.. Heraclitus said that -all around him was in CONSTANT FLUX, he stated that & gave example that one can never step in the same river twice as water is in constant motion

In spiritual out look , Monaism is the world view those who hold the to form of pantheism that all the menifestion of God & sees no real distinction between God & universe .

Monism can also be viewwd in the terms scientific realm in those who subscribe to a naturalistic materialism. according to view, of natural materialism- all reality is limited to the material world & NO. such thing exists as spirit, soul, or God. Only those things that can be perceived by the five senses are real. &is a default position of many atheists One can witness what happens if he takes view of logical conclusion. If everything is essentially matter governed by physical laws, then such things as love, morality, justice, to be placed.

Many theories are put forth by philosphers& reseaschers for Monism - the" mind " is what the brain does.
