The Dvorak Keyboard layout is more efficient than the QWERTY Keyboard layout. With that in mind, why is the QWERTY layout still the standard keyboard layout in the United States?

Qwerty is the common keyboard layout used which is a standard layout used in USA. It means arrangement of letters in sequence and it is named by the keyboard first 5 letters on top

Dvorak is an alternative to Qwerty and it tries to place the most used common letters in home row. which makes your typing more faster and accurate than Qwerty.

However we see that Qwerty is still the standar layout followed in US .

Here are the reasons for its usages and Preferences over Dvorak which is given below:

1. The first and foremost reasons for its usages its because most recent tech savy devices are coming with Qwerty

    layout features whether it is Mobile or Tab or Laptop. so it is better to get your hand well versed from earlier

    to keep in pace with Technological gadgets.

2.The flexibility of moving hands in faster pace is much better in Qwerty than in vorak for which Qwerty is still the

   standard layout.

3.In Qwerty Keyboard where you can use shourtcut keys for cut, copy , paste single handedly , In Dvorak most of

   the shotcut keys have to be typed with two hands.

4. Dvorak Keyboard is specifically suited if you want to make yourself well versed in Touch Typed interface.

5. Qwerty Continues to be a defcato standards as it helps to foster muscle memory whiele typing and this layout

    have been logically used by Typewriters earlier,Touch Keyboards in Todays era and obviously Computer
