Western views have changed on early childhood development over the years and parents are more sincere and aware for the development of their children. In the 21st century, parents want to give the best available education to their children from an early age. Most of the parents believe that Preschool is very important for children’s mental and social development. They were designed in such a way that children can learn without any stress and anxiety.

Non-Western perspectives on childhood differed from Western views because in eastern countries like China, India, Indonesia, Thailand etc. Children work and contribute to their family from a very early age but in western countries like U.S and U.K children are supposed very dependent and irresponsible.

The knowledge of early childhood development guide classroom interactions and curriculum planning because due to the knowledge of stages of childhood development and behaviour of children teachers can teach students in a better manner and they can understand their problems more easily and effectively.

5. The understanding of early childhood development guide the observation and identification of children with disabilities because they can easily and effectively observe the child development milestones and if any of the children are lacking these developmental milestones, they can easily detect.

6.The knowledge of early childhood development promotes an understanding and appreciation of diversity because it makes us able to understand the cultural and racial diversity more effectively and we can handle the situation in a better way.
