Expert Solution

Most of the ethical theories were adopted from the religious concepts although ethics evolved from the early philosophies. One of the most important yet old model of ethical theory comes from Aristotle in which he places the emphasis on the person doing the acts. This would mean that his virtue ethics theory suggests that good people would always engage in virtuous acts and a good person continues to live as a good person throughout the person’s life. Later, ethics developed during the enlightenment period where the utilitarian ethics by Mills that focused on consequences of the actions and deontology or duty ethics by Kant that focused on fulfilling the duty without worrying about the consequences came into existence. Nevertheless, moral theories help people in the society to adopt better life choices by leading a virtuous and moral life.
