The TOR project is a non profit organisation based on research education that had been founded by Nick Mathewson. The main work of this organisation is maintenance of software. The users of tor use this network as they would be connecting through virtual tunnels series and not by making direct connections, as a result of which, information would be shared over the public networks without pprivacy compromises. Also, it helps the users for creation of software’s having additional privacy features, built in the site. The most important is the tor’s onion service, which allows the users to not reveal their locations and also for carrying out communications that are socially sensitive.
