In order to get out of grieving caused due to death of close ones, in a healthy way, you can adopt following steps of grieving:
1. Denial & Isolation:
In this step or stage, a person who has lost his loved one, becomes isolated from society and denies everything food, water, etc. It is advisable from my side, that become practical and do not allow yourself to fall in this stage for a longer period of time because this unfortunate happening cannot be reversed.
2. Anger: Person generally becomes irritated and angry when someone tries to talk with him. My advise: being angry will not help, it will only deteriorate your mental health.
3. Bargaining: In this stage, person remembers God and ask why it happened to him only. Cannot it be changed. This is a kind of natural process. But this step is important because it helps a person to come out from stage of anger and isolation.
4. Depression: When person does not get any advantage on bargaining with God, he gets depressed. My advice: Be practical and get out of this as early as possible because it directly affects your physical as well as mental health.
5. Acceptance: Finally, when he comes out of depression, he accepts the reality that he has lost and it cannot be reversed. And he becomes normal.
So, early you accept, you become normal very soon.
Apart from these, some healthy practices can be included:
