Share with the class any experiences you have with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, total quality management, or others. Did you find it an effective process? How could it be improved? If you have no experience with process improvement, discuss how lean concepts could be incorporated where you work or used to work.
Here we will discuss if the lean methodology is an active process or how it can be improved, and if someone has no experience with lean methodology process improvement, how will the lean concept get incorporated with the work we used to do?
IS LEAN METHODOLOGY AND EFFECTIVE PROCESS?
Yes, in our opinion, lean methodology is an active process when it comes to the reduction of the wastage and minimizing of the customer-defined value. For a business to run appropriately with the number one position in the market, it is essential to have the least amount of wastage with the resources and the production, whereas, on the same side, it is essential to add the customer value simultaneously. Hence, using lean methodology, it becomes straightforward to reduce the wastage of resources and production and the addition of customer value addition.
HOW COULD LEAN METHODOLOGY GET IMPROVED?
Yes, in our opinion, the lean methodology can get improved easily by implementing the WIP methodology as WIP stands for work in progress, allowing the organization to set some standardized limits of working, which will help reduce the wastage of to a very extent. Hence, it is the best way to improve the lean methodology more.
HOW CAN LEAN CONCEPT GET USED TO INCORPORATE WITH WORK?
The lean methodology concept can get used to incorporated with where we work or used to work in ways by allowing the organization only a significant amount of inventory, which is necessary; they used to avoid unnecessary or inefficient lists. The response and the feedback time got also reduced to make the lean methodology work more appropriately. Battery suppliers and short production cycles also help a lot in operations of lean methodology with work.
