Quijano and Wallerstein talk about American culture. They say that there is a term named as "Americanity". They favor the process of "Americanisation". It means America has it's own unique culture which can be adopted a majority of people of this world.

There was a time a when America was having greater influence of Europe. Now we can see that USA has it's own culture. Their speaking style is different from European countries. Cox believed in a relationship between capitalism and race.

He kept main focus on racism and segregation. He also talked about racial marginalization which is mainly resulted from capitalism. He analysed race and ethnicity from a materialistic perspective. These are the concept which can not be considered on materialistic grounds only.

These are dynamic in nature. Concept of race and ethnicity gets generated through diverse practices on ground. Such topics can not be considered as static. It is a dynamic concept and it takes place on day to day basis. No single phenomenon can be held responsible for generation of concept of race and ethnicity.
