Parents play a vital role for moulding the child's behaviour. parents are responsible for the overall development of their child. Adolescence, the age of stress and strains, needs a proper parental care. During this stage of life, it is the responsibility of parents to provide proper guidance to their child. Parents need to prove themselves as a role model for their child. So the question is, what should parents do? Adolescence most likely follow the blueprints of their parents, so parents must be extra conscious about their actions which may have impact on their child's personality development.

Adolescents begin to believe themselves mature to take any decision and they do not like others interference in their personal matters, So it becomes parents responsibility to help them in their decisions. Parents must set practical examples that how to deal with difficult situations and how to make serious decisions of life.

Parents must guide their child that how to cope with feelings such as frustration and distress

Parents need to inculcate social norms, social values and socal rules to their child so that he may not face adjustment problems in future in the society.

Parents need to give sufficient time to adolscents and need to give proper support to them.

1) adolescents are keen learners and they try to be like elders so they try to copy their elders. They try to behave like their parents and copy their lifestyle. Adolscents have direct impact of their parents lifestyle and they become as their parents are.so, it is the responsibility of parents now to set an example for their children. Parents need to show the positive attitude so that their children also develop the same. If parents show negative attitude towards the different life situations the child will also develop the same. parents need to be practical in their approach so that adolescents also learn to be practical.

Parents need to be free from addiction of drugs and other social ills of society so that their children also restrain themselves from the same.

Parents must show great respect towards different social institutions in order to set an example for their children about the value of social institutions. if parents fail to do so there are high chances that they follow them.
