Sale of ABC inc. has taken a beating recently. As a result of this, the stock price of ABC Inc. also has gone down drastically.I, the public relations practitioner of ABC Inc. decided to regain the lost public faith in the company and held an online meeting of employees of the marketing department of ABC Inc. to discuss the creation of a favorable public image of ABC Inc. I started the session by asking the marketing staff about the current public image of ABC Inc. Mr.X, Manger of the southern zone of ABC Inc. opined that the company enjoys a good public image but immediately Mr.Y, Manager of the northern zone opposed the argument by citing some incidents that affected the image of ABC Inc. among the public. Many staff members started supporting their favorite zone manager in this matter. The dispute grew to a level where none could hear anything. In that situation, I interrupted and told them that this is a time for introspection than argumentation and showed some data regarding public sentiments towards the company. Then everyone in the meeting started agreeing that there are some problems in the public relations front that needs to be addressed. After that everyone contributed productively towards the problems of ABC Inc.Mr.Y suggested about a promotional event that helps in regaining the lost public image of ABC Inc.then immediately Mr.X supported and improvised it. Then everyone openly spoke about their opinion on this and the meeting wound up in a fruitful manner.
