Imagine that you have been invited to deliver a speech at a town hall meeting. You are going to deliver a persuasive speech to persuade citizens in your community to vote yes toward the allocation of city funds towards a project or cause that you believe will benefit all members of your community.

Topic: City funds towards a project of " A Park with Greenspace".

Good morning to one and all present here

As you all know,  today we gathered here for discussing about the development projects of our community for coming economic year. Our local Government authorities are planned an innovative project for our community to make use of city funds this time . They got many options of different projects, among that option, a very wise choice they have made that, to Develop a park with a Green spce .

Our community and area is lacking a facility, where the members of the community can take a rest in nature, go for a walk, sit in a bench quietly with their spouse ( if they want ), lie down in a lawn by feeling the breeze, practice their 1 year old to take tiny steps in the green lawn, where there small kids can play in nature. So I don't think so that  nobody will be opposing the idea of developing a park with a Green space .

Park is an area of land set aside for environment preservation or recreation. A well set up community surely should have a park in it. Parks can be used for the exercise purpose, that greatly serve a community by reducing the obesity related problems, hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Diabetes Mellitus and Coronary artery diseases by burning extra calories and making the respiratory and cardiovascular system fit. Parks also can be utilised for taking rest from the pressures of job and used for relaxation. Sitting alone in a bench and feeling the nature can calm your mind. Kids area also will be there in the park, so our kids also can enjoy the nature.

So I urge everyone to vote ' Yes' for the allocation of city funds towards the project of " Developing a park with Green space" that I believe will benefit for all the members of our community. Together we stand , Divide we fall. Stand for nature  and stand for us.
