India, in India the concepts of ethical relativism and ethnical universalism potentially be in conflict. Ethical universalism is basically the ideal world of ethical aspects in which an universal ethic apply to all people whereas ethical relativism is something in which the real perspective of anything is taken.

India is a country of high diversity with world's 2nd most population, so there were many people in India who will favour ethnical universalism and many people will four ethnical relativism.

One of the biggest example for this scenario is the worship of females during their menstruations. There are many and many people in India who treat a female as umpire during her menstruations, females were being treated very badly during their menstruations period. They are highly restricted for doing worship during their menstrual flow. Whereas as there are many people who will give very special treatment to a female specially when she will having her menstruations, there are some temples and some people who didn't restrict a female to do her worship during her menstruations period. In India, as per ethnical universalism, there is always greeting of namaste to everyone but as per ethnical relativism, greeting style got changed as per requirement of person. People were doing hand shaves, hug and many Western culture of greetings. Like praying before exams is an ethnical universalism. Doing good and behave politely with all is an ethnical universalism but behave according to the reaction of person, will be ethnical relativism.
